About Me

Multi-Lingual Third Culture Kid Born in France, raised in Italy until end of Primary School. I move to Hong Kong where I continued my Secondary Education. I then went to the UK to study Architectural Technology (B.Sc.). Currently studying my Post-Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Design Technology to become a Secondary School teacher.

Me as a Teacher

Compromising and flexible, I'm able to understand your needs as an individual and cater the classes accordingly. I'm easy-going and understanding, patient, and will encourage you to try your best. I am friendly and will be glad to discuss any wide range of topics that will help you better engage with the material.

My lessons & teaching style

My focus is on functional linguistics, based on the seminal works of Jim Cummins, targeting cognitive and academic language to help you achieve language proficiency. While it's important to be aware of grammar and conjucation; they are not necessary to achieve advanced language proficiency. My approach is logical and methodical, but can be flexible in where the student/teacher choose where to take the lessons. My lessons will help you prepare for everyday use of the language, in order to feel more comfortable in using new languages; but can also help with more advanced students that need to refine their vocabulary.
