Hello folks! My name is Eve. I am a professional licensed teacher from the Philippines who's enjoying life in teaching industry for four years now and counting. Yes, I purposely applied as a community tutor because I wholeheatedly want my teaching rate to be affordable to everyone as my own way of helping ☺. I have taught English, Filipino, and Technology and Livelihood Education subjects at schools, but my baccalaureate major is English which I finished at University of Southeastern Philippines. Yes, I love to teach English because this is the language that keeps people, even with different nationalities and culture, connected globally.❤

Me as a Teacher

I am a teacher and a friend at the same time. So, being more helpful and understanding to students' concerns and difficulties are more practiced. I will help my students in a lot of ways for them to learn a language I am knowledgeable about and help them to be confident with it. I am patient, friendly, optimistic, cheerful and passionate especially when it comes to teaching. English is not my 1st language, it's my 3rd. So, it is easier for me to connect with students since I've been on the same boat. I am very much honored to share my knowledge and help people achieve their goals in learning a language.

My lessons & teaching style

My lessons always depend on the student's needs and level, but they are also free to request for specific types of lessons they want to have. Personally, I'm not really too formal in my classes here unlike when I'm in a classroom setting. Instead, I'd like my students to just relax and be comfortable with me while learning. However, students can still suggest a teaching style they think is more suitable for them (I'm very flexible ?). Rest assured that students will achieve the quality learning they always deserve.
