About Me

I'm Matthew and I'm 36 years old I've lived and worked as an English teacher and tutor in Bangkok for the past decade during which I have taught lots and lots of students, both adults and teenagers. I love cats and animals in general, and videogames are my passion. I live in a small but cozy apartment in downtown Bangkok and I love my job

Me as a Teacher

As a teacher, I'm very passionate about my work and I truly love helping students improve their abilities and language skills. My lessons are fun and relaxed and I love students who ask me tons of questions. My philosophy is that knowledge is power and should be accessible to as many people as possible.

My lessons & teaching style

My lessons focus on vocabulary building and communication skills. As mentioned earlier I have lots of experience teaching conversational English and I pride myself on being an excellent conversationalist. I provide my students with all the materials they need in order to give them the best of my experience and expertise.

Today we covered a lot about the constitution of words. It turned out that the knowledge of other European languages can really contribute to the study of English vocabulary. I was amazed by the story behind words. Thank you so much for the great talk and have a nice week.
