About Me

Hello dear italkis! My name is Carlotta. I'm originally from Hamburg but I moved to Berlin in 2012. My interests are super divers, from carpintery to digital phenomena, dance and plants - you name it. I can tell by my own experience, that learning a language works best, when you have someone who consequently talks that language with you, besides learning grammar and vocabulary. I've been to Ecuador when I was 16 and learned Spanish through my host family who only talked Spanish to me. I'm a curious, very open minded person - and very looking forward to meet you!

Me as a Teacher

I've come to teach German more or less automatically, since I have non-german friends who want to learn German. So I'm really used to interact with German-learners and I enjoy it a lot. I'm patient and I can speak slow and clearly. I'm also good in writing different styles of texts like applications, essays or scientific papers.

My lessons & teaching style

I will completely adapt to your needs and interest if you want to, but I can also come up with tasks to structure our lessons. I'm sure we're going to find out together, what is the most effective way for you to improve your German! And most of all - let's have a good time! I'm looking forward to meet you!
