About Me

Hi! I'm Manu. I am a bilingual teacher with many years of experience. I completed a Master Degree and a Trinity Diploma in TESOL, a whole lot of didactic knowledge that I'd like to share with learners, to help them reach their goals effortlessly! My career started in 2009 teaching Italian at Wellesley College, Ma, USA. There I had the chance to deepen my knowledge of Linguistics and Methodology of Teaching. I have also taught English and Italian in Spain, Hungary, Italy, Scotland and Ireland. Whether you need to improve your conversation skills, prepare for a test or a conference, or advance your English level, I'll be able to create custom lessons to suite your needs. Let's start!

Me as a Teacher

Over the years, my students have appreciated how dedicated and resourceful I am as an educator, from the creation of original, hands-on lessons, to the ability to individualise instruction based on students' needs and interests. I am a goal driven individual, so I can relate to the importance an objective has for a learner and I am happy to help in the process Being a learner of languages myself, I strive to promote confidence in my students.

My lessons & teaching style

I specialise in Test Preparation and I have helped many students maximising their scores especially with the IELTS. I was a Cambridge BULATS examiner for almost 2 years, so I can guide you through Business Tests as well. Thanks to my studies in Language Acquisition at M.I.T, I will show you the shortcuts to mastering the language. I have a vast portfolio of activities to enrich your vocabulary, grammar, functional language (ex: how to ask for directions, negotiate) and Use of English. Learning and practicing won't be stressful, but a real joy!
