About Me

I'm a freelance tutor with over 10 years in teaching experience. I enjoy teaching, stitching, painting, cooking, crafting, and so many other things, but what I enjoy the most is reading self-help or personal growth books, written by spiritual masters of our time, such as Eckart Tolle, among others. My aim as a tutor is to motivate and encourage the students so that they take genuine interest in learning English or Spanish language, to teach them at a level where they can comprehend, read and talk confidently. With the use of my unique teaching method I want to make the learning experience more interesting, faster and easier, so that the students end up enjoying the class and the language.

Me as a Teacher

I have prepared over 300 students for IB, GCSE, IGCSE, A level and SAT, TOEFL exams, focusing on listening, writing, speaking and reading; not only do they get excellent marks on their exams, but also become confident enough to speak English and Spanish fluently in very short period of time. I am Creative and resourceful, able to develop innovative and didactic teaching methods which make the student’s learning experience easier and more interesting. Acting as a teacher has been so rewarding, because some of my students have reached C2 level in just one year, and some others who are not very committed in learning have reached advanced level in two or three years.

My lessons & teaching style

I have developed my own teaching method based on my experience as an English and Spanish tutor. My method differs from others because it is didactic, easy and relies on logic and comprehension rather than memory. I use audio-visual aids (texts, audios, games etc.) to complement the teaching; in this way the brain comprehends the whole concept connecting the words, gaining vocabulary and understanding grammar at the same time.
