I am an American currently living in Bogotá, Colombia! When I'm not teaching, I'm spending time with friends and exploring the city. I love trying new things, especially when it comes to food! I would describe myself as artistic, thoughtful, and kind; I'm someone who is constantly striving to better herself and see more of what the world has to offer. ¡Soy una estadounidense que vive en Bogotá, Colombia! Cuando no trabajo, me gusta pasar tiempo con mis amigos y conocer la ciudad. Me encanta probar cosas nuevas, ¡especialmente la comida! Me describiría como artística, pensativa y amable; siempre estoy trabajando para mejorarme y conocer más de lo que ofrece este mundo tan bello.

I love being an English teacher because helping others reach their language goals reminds me of my own journey learning Spanish! I am a great listener, encouraging, and positive. ¡Me encanta ser una profesora de inglés porque me recuerda de mi propia experiencia aprendiendo el español! Soy una persona positiva que escucha y anima a mis estudiantes.

My lessons & teaching style

I give students the space to fully express themselves and create a safe environment where they can ask questions with ease. Normally my sessions consist of pure conversation practice, but if you would like something more specific, please send me a message on the italki platform.
