About Me

Hello everyone and welcome! My name is Misha, I am from Pakistan and I am excited to help you learn English! I have a Masters in International Development Management from the University of Nottingham, and a Bachelors degree in English literature and Economics. I speak both English and Urdu fluently. I have also tutored undergraduate students, mentored youth programs on the job, and worked extensively with translations. I am fun, friendly, patient, and enjoy interacting with people from diverse nationalities, cultures, backgrounds and age groups, as I have done on my previous professional and academic assignments. I have traveled to and lived in Malaysia, Dubai, Australia and Thailand.

Me as a Teacher

I am especially interested in teaching English for standardized tests like SAT and GRE, as well as day-to-day conversational and descriptive written English. I can also help with any kind of spoken or written English for school and college assignments or examinations, and guide you in preparing for recruitment-related tests and interviews. I am also particularly enthusiastic about helping you improve your pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, punctuation, and comprehension.

My greatest asset lies in my ability to gauge each individual student’s occupation, learning style, strengths and weaknesses, and personalizing lesson plans/learning activities accordingly. I have had a very interesting lesson with my teacher Misha IELTs; I felt comfortable and happy with her way and techniques for teaching. At this lesson we discuss some topics as a conversation and she corrected me; she learnt me how to fix the problem and mistakes of English writing. Really I am so happy to learn with her.
