This review will be in English in order for me to fully demonstrate the range of Laura's prowess as an instructor. Laura has become the perfect teacher for me since we began this journey together several months ago: She is warm, empathetic, patient, curious, knowledgeable, and transparent about the things she doesn't know. (And if she doesn't know, she makes it a point to fill the gap during the next lesson after she researches the topic.) Additionally, Laura's approach to teaching consistently feels natural, conversational, and low-pressure, which has been conducive to my massive progress. I've grown a lot during our time together, and she is deserving of the success she has experienced here so far. It is difficult to encapsulate all the things that make Laura worthy of the highest possible recommendation here, but this is the burden I carry as her favorite student and star pupil. Why do I like Laura’s classes so much? 1. She’s very attentive to my specific needs and she readily identifies them. She also integrates in the classes whatever I may want to work on. 2. She maintains a constant pleasant speech stream perfectly understandable to a foreign ear, speaking neither too slowly nor too fast. 3. She has a wide general and to the point knowledge of whatever I may want to talk about. 4. Most of all her classes are very stimulating and help me maintain the motivation to keep on learning the language. 5. From one class to another I see clear improvement in my command of Spanish. 6. In a nutshell I am always looking forward to my next lesson realizing that I gradually express myself with more ease feeling that I could without hesitation speak to any Spanish speaker and in spite of the fact that I’m not yet fluent in Spanish I’m confident that I could make it out fine. 7.
