About Me

I come from Prešov, Slovakia. I am currently studying languages, more specifically English and Spanish at Comenius University in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. For the past two years, I have been teaching languages, both my mother tongue, Slovak, and the languages that I study at university. In my free time, I love to travel, as I am passionate about exploring new cultures, trying different cuisines, and meeting new people. I also love to play piano, practice yoga, and read books.

Me as a Teacher

I have been teaching Slovak for the past two years and from the experience, I know that every student has its specific preferences, therefore I always try to tailor my classes according to the needs of my students.

My lessons & teaching style

I believe that a language class should be educative but also entertaining! And that's what I always try to do in my classes. For the conversation classes, I always prepare some interesting topics to talk about and to help my students to improve their vocabulary. I believe that speaking is most important when it comes to learning a new language and that's why I encourage my student to speak from the very beginning. I also use different materials like articles, videos, and grammar exercises when needed.
