About Me

Hello everybody! I'm İrem from Turkey. I'm a university student and I'm currently studying English Language and Teaching. *I love learning about different cultures and languages. *I'm kind and patient. I love talking about music, tv shows and sports, especially basketball. *I have been teaching both English and Turkish to adults and middle school students, so I have experience in teaching. I would be pleased to help the ones who are interested in learning Turkish. *I can't wait to meet different people from all around the world! I hope you choose to learn Turkish with me.

Me as a Teacher

As a teacher, I can say that I'm so patient. I try communicate with my students as a friend because I believe that makes students more comfortable. Comfort is the most important thing in learning.

My lessons & teaching style

We can discuss any topic and have a conversation in Turkish to help you improve your speaking skills. In addition to this, I aim to improve your pronunciation and grammar by providing you with texts and audios. I don't like classical grammar lessons because I find them boring and also most students think so. I try to conduct my lessons according to my students' needs and their learning styles.

İrem is a very patient teacher and extremely knowledgable. I started back in March doing a weekly lesson sometimes 2/3 a week and I have gone from understanding a few basic words to being able to ask for things, express myself in a very basic way and understand a good majority of spoken Turkish. I really look forward to my lessons each week with İrem, book a lesson and you won't be disappointed.
