About Me

Hello, my name is Kenan, and I teach English, Bosnian and Serbian languages. For the last 4 years, I have worked on cruise ships where I had a chance to meet, work and spend time with people from all around the world. Even though I enjoyed exploring and experiencing different countries, I decided to come back to Bosnia and Herzegovina, my motherland. Currently, my favorite hobby is doing martial arts which I started practicing when I was 5. Aside from martial arts, I enjoy traveling and watching movies.

Me as a Teacher

I showed interest in languages when I was a kid, so I started learning English when I was 7 years old. Going on cruise ship improved and shaped my English skills. Additionally, traveling, and meeting people from different cultures helped me enhance my interpersonal and communicational skills, which I find to be very helpful in understanding different accents and mindsets. Since I'm very passionate about meeting and learning about different cultures I've decided to start a new journey on iTalki.

My lessons & teaching style

In my experience, speaking freely is one of the best exercises while learning a new language so my classes are based on reading short articles and having a free discussion about them. Additionally, I am open to free conversation in order to exchange opinions or attitudes about any topic of your interest while guiding you to a more proficient way of expressing yourself. However, if you have any other requests, or areas of improvement, that you would like to work on, I will be more than happy to help you.
