Hello! My name is ale and I work at italki as a Spanish teacher. I love this job because I can meet people from different countries, their cultures and what is the reason why they want to speak Spanish. I went to college to become a professional makeup artist and image consultant. But despite everything that has happened in the world and the Covid-19 I discovered a way to help people and at the same time have fun meeting people from all over the world. I love watching series, suspense movies, police, comedy and dark humor. I obviously can't leave LGBTQ + shows and drag queens behind. I love music, whenever I have a heavy day, or I want to start a good day, I put on some music, unlike many

Me as a Teacher

As a teacher I like to teach you without the need for you to feel pressured, it is horrible when you start to learn something and many times the person who is supposed to teach you does not have patience or does not teach you how it should be. I like to know your goals and in this way to be able to help you, either for school, work or to be able to speak with another person in Spanish. I like to leave homework because this way your brain can remember everything you saw in class. Although at the end of all it is your choice as a student to know if you want to have homework or not.

My lessons & teaching style

my method depends on what you want to achieve as a student. Whether in work, professional, hobby or school I will help you improve or start from scratch with your Spanish. I usually leave you homework so you can practice your Spanish and review them in the next class, I also usually comment that to study and not lose what you have learned it is better for many students, to practice twice a week, but this will depend a lot on your decision and your time. It is important for me that you tell me if you like or not to do homework after school since in the end the decision is yours alone.
