I am empathetic which make it easy for me to be sensitive about the needs and the feelings of the student. I can also adapt easily and adjust my teaching style if needed. I am able to make the student feel comfortable and I think that it’s something really important when you want to learn and practice a new language!
It’s important for me to listen and my priority is the student’s needs. My lessons & teaching style
I am really focused on the needs of the student and will take enough time to ensure that the lesson is what the student needs. On a regular basis i will check for feed back of how the student is feeling about the class and will make sure if the student completely understands what is being taught. By using visual supports like flash cards, videos and pictures i try to be make the class really interesting and motivating. My teaching style is slightly informal, which makes the class more fun and entertaining.5.0

I enjoy my lessons with Sarah because she takes time to find interesting things for us to discuss/read and patiently finds ways to insert corrections into the discusions without stopping the flow of conversation. She is patient and encouraging and makes me feel comfortable to speak almost entirely in French (complete with a lot of errors, of course, but also some jokes!) She has interesting things to say on a variety of topics and so I always have fun and feel like I have learnt something along the way!

If courtesy and attention to each other lead to mutual understanding, the teacher is also a master at this. It is difficult to imagine what you can ask more of those who, with responsibility, professionalism and attention, allow you to learn following your interests and perfectly matching your expectations.
