About Me

Hello everyone! My name is Paula, I'm a Spanish native speaker who was born in Colombia. I'm a certified teacher in fundamental write and speaking (Spanish/English) (Spanish/Portuguese) so I teach the language professionally. I'm also a musician and singer so I really enjoy to spend my time reading and writing content, finding new interesting articles on internet, do some photography and traveling around South America that I really enjoy and feel fascinated to meet new cultures and folklore. Because of that, new topics and different interests will always be more than welcomed during our lessons.

Me as a Teacher

I'm a certified teacher who tries to adapt and add as much personal interest as possible to my classes because I believe that learning through and because of something you love will always be the best and fastest way to achieve your linguistic goals. I have always been interested in getting to know people from other countries in my travels and this was one of the main reasons that I I started studying to become a language teacher

My lessons & teaching style

I have worked teaching all ages and abilities from adults to young children and I have the necessary experience to adapt and to tailor my classes for these different ages and abilities. Depending on your necessities I can use different materials or resources to help you reach your goal but in general working on your speaking and listening are my main goals. I like to create a fun, laid-back and engaging environment, where you can build your confidence and not be afraid to make a mistake. Increasing the likelihood of gaining fluency quicker.
