In Hong Kong and Seoul after my family moved back to Korea, my two children have been attending an international school and I have helped my children speak 3 languages perfectly. I myself learned English in Hong Kong to survive and I learned by experience how difficult the language acquisition is. Those hands-on experiences combined with my education background, my career as a high school teacher would help you improve your Korean language in every area effectively. My lessons & teaching style
For learners at all levels
: teaching with textbooks
I'll mainly focus on learning through communicating with students because it is very important to pronounce Korean rhythmically.
Writing an essay (beyond the intermediate level)
: Before class, a student submits one or two (more if possible) essays on various topics to me, and I correct those essays.
During class, I explain better expressions and structures of the essays.
This class is offered both online and offline.
Customized classes
: I can have a serious discuss with students who speak and write in Korean in their business or on academic purpose and help them to develop their careers.My teaching material

I always enjoy lessons with YK 선생님. She is patient, always answers my questions in detail to make sure I understand and she gives great real life conversation examples, especially when the book we study with is outdated or the conversations are a bit stilted. She is extremely knowledgeable, easy to have class with, and challenges me to improve my Korean every time we meet. I love working with her to learn Korean!
