About Me

Hi there! My name is Agnes or Agnieszka. I grew up on Monty Python, Gavin and Stacy and the IT Crew. So from a very young age I was exposed to the English language and instantly fell in love. I graduated from a bilingual high school and have been working with the language ever since. I currently reside in Poland and work as a freelancer and a training coordinator. I have a Bachelors degree in Management of Culture and am currently doing my Masters in Education. I love being able to combine my passions and teach using the tools I love most. That being books, music, movies and TV shows and other cultural creations. I also love finding out more about other cultures and people~

Me as a Teacher

Every class is tailored to the individual needs of the student. I want to know your goals. Based upon that we can find the best speed and intensity in your learning process. These will be conversational classes in which you will do majority of the talking. I do want my lessons to be fun so the topics we choose will be chosen with you in mind. I love using books, articles, music and any other artistic bodies of work as a way of teaching and learning and also making it interesting for the student. I might provide homework but it will be something fun that relates to our discussion. F.g. to read an article, song lyrics or simply watch a movie~

My lessons & teaching style

My teaching style is practical in nature. If you cannot remember a word I would like for you to explain what you mean in the best way you can. That way we can focus on making your speech go in tandem with your thoughts. We will also make sure to expand your vocabulary depending on the topic at hand. When the need arises I will correct any grammatical errors you might be making and try to find the most efficient way for you to express what you mean. All of this while having a nice conversation about a topic that interests you~ ~If there are topics that you want to explore or are passionate about I am very open to finding out more about them with you~
