About Me

Hello, My name is Jan (Thai name: Suthida). I am from Chiang Mai, Thailand, previously exploring different parts of the world (until the outbreak of Covid-19) and now living in Phuket. I've been living for a year in The States, 2 years in Australia, a year in Sweden, and 6 years in China. This year I am 35 years old, with more than 8 years experience in teaching Thai language to Chinese and other-nationalities students.

Me as a Teacher

I've always been working around international customer support and language learning. In China, the most recent country I lived in, I've been teaching children English for 5 years, as well as teaching company's professionals Thai (speaking, listening, reading, and writing).

My lessons & teaching style

My ideal teaching method is teaching the topics of your interest, so we will plan the lesson together accordingly. I like including images for visualising which would help you to understand better. Any tricks for remembering, fun activities or any further knowledge about culture would also be included to keep the lessons interesting. Relax, fun, and interesting classes lead to effective learning, I believe.
