About Me

Hi! My name is Mette, and I live in Denmark. I was born and raised in Denmark but lived for 18 years in France, The Netherlands, Italy and the United Arab Emirates. I'm a very keen language learner and speak French, Dutch and English fluently; Italian and German at an intermediate level and am currently studying Arabic via Italki. I love to learn and I love to teach so I really hope to see you in one of my classes!

Me as a Teacher

I started teaching music at the age of 13 in a marching band, and I haven't stopped teaching since. Throughout my career, I have taught colleagues and customers in various settings and in multiple languages and I just really enjoy the process of helping people explore new things and gaining confidence in using them.

My lessons & teaching style

My style is informal and conversational. I believe that immersion and conversation are the two best ways of learning a language. I'm inspired by the Michel Thomas language method but have my own style. I can teach Danish and French from Danish, English, French and Dutch. I will adapt my lessons to your favourite topics and strive to keep our lessons relaxed and fun.
