About Me

I am Christin from Germany. My biggest passion is language learning and travelling. Thus, I have got a professional teacher's degree for German as a Foreign Language. I teach students from all over the world in classroom and online. Having lived in France, Australia and South East Asia as well as India, I know about the difficulties you encounter learning a foreign language. I am working as a Career Counsellor in Germany. Therefore, I can give you a lot of tips to get a job in Germany. Ich bin Christin aus Deutschland. Meine größte Leidenschaft ist Sprachenlernen und Reisen. Deswegen bin ich zertifizierte Lehrerin für Deutsch als Fremdsprache und unterrichte online und im Klassenraum.

Me as a Teacher

My lessons are entertaining because I am a really curious person that is definitely going to make you speak. I am creating authentic conversations using well prepared teaching materials. Mein Unterricht ist sehr unterhaltsam, weil ich eine sehr neugierige Person bin, die euch definitiv zum Sprechen animiert. Es fällt mir leicht, einen Zugang zu anderen zu finden, indem ich viele Fragen stelle und authentische Kommunikationssituationen schaffe.

My lessons & teaching style

My language teaching approach is pretty straight forward: practice a new language as much as you can with a native speaker. Make sure to combine new words with the onces you are unfamiliar with in one phrase. Furthermore, I love to come up with a so called "Eselsbrücke" - a bridge to memorize certain words via images. Mein Sprachlehransatz ist ziemlich simpel: spreche eine neue Sprache soviel du kannst mit Muttersprachlern. Stelle sicher, dass du die Worte, die du kennst mit unbekannten Worten kombinierst. Außerdem liebe ich es, mir "Eselsbrücken" mittels Bildern zu neuen Wörtern für dich auszudenken.
