About Me

Hi, everybody! I'm Matheus Manchester, a 25-year-old language enthusiast. I was born and raised in Rio and I love languages, K-pop and video games. I've studied English, French, Spanish and Italian and it is a life goal of mine to master all major Romance languages.

Me as a Teacher

I have been working as an English teacher for about 5 years at local English schools. I have worked with beginners, intermediate and advanced students in communicative, student-centered settings, both online and in person. I have also taught Portuguese to foreigners online for about 4 months now.

My lessons & teaching style

All my lessons are largely conversational and student-centered so as to make the student feel like they are participating and noticing their progress. I am dynamic and an avid user of real-life online material to show students how the language is used in normal situations.
