Ilse is an excellent teacher. I recommend her to learners at all levels. After ten months of learning Spanish with her, I got from zero to be able to have conversations about different topics while feeling comfortable. She always keeps the conversation flowing and helps with corrections without interrupting me. I always look forward to our classes together. Muchas Gracias, Ilse! Eres una maestra increíble!!!

I have been studying Spanish with Ilse for over a month now, and I am very happy with how it is going. I had a different iTalki tutor before her, but I wasn’t satisfied with them, so I started looking for a new one and found Ilse. I never looked back! Ilse is a very attentive listener, which is super important, because I have been studying Spanish for only about 7 month, so the speed of my speech leaves much to be desired. Yet, I feel that she is paying 100% attention to what I am saying. She is pushing me to speak a lot, which is great, and later shows me my mistakes. Outside of that, we read texts, sometimes I write something and we discuss it, which is also very helpful. I am always looking forward to my classes with Ilse, which for me is the most important thing :)

Ilse uses interesting resources, asks great questions for conversations, and gives helpful feedback. Highly recommended!

Ilse is a wonderful teacher. My son started Spanish at school 6 months ago and he felt very uncomfortable. Since he's been studying with Ilse, he is much more confident, he talks a lot during his lessons, and above all, he's very excited and happy before each lesson ! It is because Ilse is a very kind and serious teacher. Each lessons is built with care, she focuses on your achievements and gives you good learning material for each lesson. Never have to worry about a thing with Ilse. She sent me a short excerpt to read beforehand and we talked about it during the lesson. As always, Ilse asked lots of thought provoking questions and patiently gives me space for trying to express an idea or look for a word. She’s amazing!
