About Me

Hello! I'm Adnan and I come from Great Britain. I am a Lecturer doing a PhD in sports science. I am excited to help you reach your goals in learning English. Whether you want to get ahead in your professional life, perform better in assignments/qualifications or simply as preparation for travelling/living in an English speaking country, I would love to help you get there. I also speak Spanish, so if you come from a Spanish speaking country, I can support you on a deeper level, as I have done for many Spanish speakers across the globe. Me as a Teacher

Teaching has been a long term passion of mine. With my clear British accent, educational background, patience and overall enthusiasm for learning languages, I am sure to be a useful tool in your English learning journey. I have a Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training, a recognised teaching qualification for post-16 learners in the UK. My career ambition is to teach higher education and conduct research in universities after completing my PhD. I have a wealth of experience in teaching and supporting students of a variety of ages. I have also taught English abroad.

My lessons & teaching style

My lesson style is relaxed, informal and offers you a comfortable, fun and engaging way to improve your English. Meanwhile, I am willing to push and challenge you to reach the next level. So you need to prepare to do so yourself! From experience, having one on one conversational practice on a variety of topics is the most effective way to improve your fluency. I can cover specific aspects, including vocabulary, pronunciation, academic writing, interview/presentation practice or even overall confidence building. I can also guide you with independent study methods/resources.
