About Me

Hi, I am teacher Dost. I have been teaching English professionally for eighteen years to the learners from 8 years old children to 60 years old adults. Currently I am living in Istanbul, Turkey and helping the learners advance in their carriers and be the confident speakers of English by teaching them effective communication skills of English. I speak four languages; English, Russian, Turkish and Turkmen. As a polyglot and a Master’s Degree professional English teacher, I know the difficulties in learning the new languages. For overcoming all those challenges, I developed a very comprehensive and practical method for you to learn and advance your English very easily in a short time.

Me as a Teacher

I am a very easygoing and patient teacher. I never push my learners to master the goal of a lesson at a time. If needed, I provide extra explanations until the goal of a lesson is acquired. During the lesson I keep my seed of speaking in accordance with the level of the learner. I like when the learners are curious and ask questions. I always support the learners with the extra guidance to help them be self-learners. Besides teaching English, I also teach Turkish for the communication and academic purposes.

My lessons & teaching style

Each learner is unique, and has own learning pace and style. Thus, it is impossible to implement the same method to every learner. For this reason, the first step that I do is determining the learners’ style and requirements. After this I tailor my teaching methods and materials according to the learners. I teach: • English from A1-C2 levels including all four skills; grammar, reading, speaking and writing. • Business English – vocabulary, speaking fluency and professional e-mail Writing. • Preparing for the Proficiency Tests – TOEFL, IELTS, GRE, FCE, YDS/YOKDIL (language proficiency test for the universities in Turkey) • Speaking Practice • Intensive Grammar Lessons
