Hallo! Ich heisse Thomas, bin 26 Jahre alt und komme aus Mainz, Deutschland. Ich bin gerne draussen an der frischen Luft, spiele Gitarre und Videospiele in der Freizeit. Ich studiere Jura im 13. Semester und habe einen Nebenjob als Gitarrenlehrer und Italki-Lehrer. Ich freue mich sehr, dir bei deinen Sprachfähigkeiten zu helfen. Hi! I am Thomas, I am 26 years old and I'm from Mainz, Germany, I love being outside and I play guitar and videogames in my sparetime. I study law in my 5th year and have a part time job as a guitar teacher and an italki teacher. I am looking forward to help you improve your language skills.

Me as a Teacher

While I have not taught a lot of people languages I have always enjoyed teaching people to play the guitar. I think that I have good understanding for what is important when it comes to learning a language and I see myself capable in providing an environment where you can improve upon your skills.

With you I would like to have casual conversations. The conversations could be about anything you can imagine as long as the topic of conversation fits your skill level and allows you to use words you might know about in theory but don't know how to apply them. I wanna help you put the theory behind the language to use so you can formulate sentences and speak like a native!

Thomas was very helpful with conversation, and helping fill in the gaps where I was missing a phrase or struggling to find a way of saying something. He is knowledgeable about language, interested in discussing different topics, and made me feel very comfortable.

Thomas is very patient, and when you have trouble with a question, rather than simply providing the answer, he first tries to give you hints, which makes you think, and helps you remember. He also goes over wrong answers again, to provide more practice with those. I'm very pleased with my lessons, and I'm already learning a lot!
