About Me

I was born in Estonia to a Russian family, and lived in NYC for 3 years. I've traveled all over the world and have studied in different countries. I have graduated with English literature major from the City University of New York in New York City and currently educating myself by taking various courses. I have taken some Russian philology courses at Estonian university and I have experience teaching children and adults English and Estonian languages. I have studied in Denmark for two years and had my internship in Spain where I have learned some basic Spanish as well. My favorite things to do is to travel, to read and spend time with my friends and family.

Me as a Teacher

I am really patient and straightforward with my students. Due to my personal experience, I know how to teach a language in a best possible way. If you don't understand something, I am going to explain and give examples. We are going to discuss any challenges you may experience and see if you can find a way how to learn in a most efficient way. For instance, by writing things down, memorizing, or talking about it the next class.

My lessons & teaching style

At the moment I would like to concentrate on tutoring and helping you with your homework, questions, or any issues that you may have. At the end of the class I am giving an optional homework specifically chosen for you. Usually, it is something to look forward to because homework is usually to write about something that you read, or watched, as well as talking to your friends in the language that you are learning and discussing important topics, such as health, politics, or hobbies. Everyone's homework will differ based on their interests. For instance, it may be to create a video in the language that you are learning
