Hi, I'm Shota. Welcome to my profile. I was born and raised in Japan and am currently living in Jamaica. I've been to almost 30 countries and I'm lucky to have made friends all over the world. I love cooking and eating all types of cuisines. I also enjoy long walks and watching TV. I am fascinated by other cultures and the history of civilization. My friends tell me I'm a great conversationalist and super approachable. こんにちは、わたしの名前はショウタです。　よろしくお願いします。　日本で生まれ育ち、現在はジャマイカに住んでいます。　これまで30ヶ国ほど旅行し、世界中で友達ができました。　わたしの趣味は料理、散歩とテレビを見ることです。海外の文化や歴史に興味があります。　友人からはよく話しやすくフレンドリーと言われます。

Me as a Teacher

I'm currently tutoring some students and I found it quite fun. I also enjoy sharing what I know with my students. My classes are conversational based catering to all levels. I choose topics based on students' interests and learning styles. I've studied English for the past 9 years, therefore I know how hard it can be to learn another language. I can also explain things in English as well. I am very patient and I try to create a relaxing learning environment. 私は現在オンラインで日本語を教えています。　日本語を教えることと知識をシェアすることが好きです。　私のクラスは会話中心のレッスンスタイルです。　初級者から上級者まで全てのレベルにて対応可能です。　基本的に皆さんの好きなトピックを軸にレッスンを進めていきます。　リクエスト等ございましたら気軽にお尋ねください。　私もこれまで約9年間英語を勉強してきたので外国語を学習する大変さは理解しています。　英語での説明も可能ですのでご安心ください。

My lessons & teaching style

I specialize in free conversations, however I've taught lots of beginners as well so if you are a beginner, I can also teach you from the basics such as Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji and grammar. There is no one-fits-all-approach when it comes to learning a new language. So If you have any requests or preferences please let me know, I will try to tailor our lessons to your needs as best as I can. 私のレッスンは主にフリーカンバセーション形式です。　ですがこれまで多くの初級者も教えてきたので基礎を教えることも可能です。　言語学習法は人によって様々ですので、もしリクエストや質問等ございましたらいつでもご連絡ください。　できる限る皆さんのニーズにあうレッスンを提供できるように努めます。
