Having the opportunity to teach is one of the most satisfying and rewarding experiences I have ever had. It makes me really happy to share what I know and to see my students' progress.
Spanish is a beautiful language, that is why I would like to get more people to appreciate it and use it without feeling overwhelmed. Practice with me; get more examples and in-depth explanations of things you don't get, or learn more about Mexican culture, traditions and slang.
My previous students say they really enjoy my classes because I am patient, I have a different approach to teaching, and I always find a way to explain things. My lessons & teaching style
My tutoring method is not formal nor strict. I want you to use Spanish in a comfortable, daily-life kind of way. This is because, most of the times, it is not the same thing to use a language inside a classroom, than out there in the real world.
My main goal is to make the class enjoyable; throughout my life, I have noticed that it is easier to learn a language and speak it fluently when using it in a natural way (let´s say, by talking to your friends or family), rather than trying to only learn in a classroom environment. Language learning should not be a burden, It should be a process that you enjoy! I want to share this kind of feeling with as many people as possible.My teaching material

This was my first time working with a tutor. After studying on my own for 4 years, I decided to take the next step and get a tutor. Jacqueline is very kind and patient, and helped to keep the conversation going. This was a great step for improving my conversational skills, listening skills and she kindly corrected my grammar as well. She also taught me some phrases to sound more native, and could explain things in English very well when needed.
