About Me

Ciao I'm native Italian and I live in Cyprus. I have been speaking sinhala for more than 20 years. I have experience in teaching Italian to Srilankan. I can also help kids and teenager who are learning Italian as a second language. On Italki I helped few students to prepare for certification from A1 to B2. Sono italiana e vivo a Cipro. Mentre vivevo ancora a Milano ho imparato la lingua singalese ovvero la lingua parlata in Sri Lanka. Ho fatto esperienza aiutando diversi singalesi ad imparare l'italiano. Posso anche aiutare bambini e ragazzi che stanno imparando la lingua italiana a scuola come seconda lingua. Su Italki ho aiutato diversi studenti a preparsi per la certificazione da A1a B2.

Me as a Teacher

I have a communicative approach. We will learn first how to communicate and then we will learn grammar also. Il mio approccio e di tipo comunicativo. Mi piace partire dalla comunicazione per poi arrivare ad una riflessione grammaticale.

My lessons & teaching style

I divide the lesson in short session of about 15 minutes each with different activities and in the end we will discuss about grammar. During the conversation session I like to start with a text. It might be a TV news, a song a piece of literature or a newspaper article on which we will exchange opinions and improve communication abilities. Le mie lezioni sono divise in sessioni di 10/15 minuti. Per ogni sessione mi concentro su una diversa attività per poi arrivare alla fine alla riflessione grammaticale. Nelle conversazioni amo partire da un testo, che sia una notizia, una canzone o un testo letterario per poi discuterne insieme e migliorare la comunicazione.
