About Me

I live each day thinking that it is one last day to achieve my purpose in life. I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic, but I currently live in the US. I enjoy music, singing, playing the ukulele, movies, series, the beach, adventures and most importantly getting out of my comfort zone.

Me as a Teacher

I love helping others achieve their dreams. I have taught Spelling, Grammar, Health and Math in English to first graders and Incident and Accident Causation and Prevention in English to college students.

My lessons & teaching style

I like to focus on pronunciation and laid back conversations. Talking about what you like will more likely catch your attention and help you get more fluent easily. I usually use TED talks, articles and songs. Important: *If a student is late, they will still be charged for the whole lesson *The student must attend the lesson at least 15 minutes after the starting time, otherwise I won't be available *Please, note that 1 hour session is 55 minutes

The lesson was AWESOME! I learned an acronym for SER and ESTAR. Now it makes more sense. She's been utilizing creative techniques to assist me in retaining the lesson materials. This is working out well for me! I actually feel as though I'm learning the language. We have a long way to go, but I think with 2 - 3 lessons a week. I will be fluent in no time!
