About Me

My name is Kelly. I live in South Africa and I am a qualified teacher specializing in English. I have 6 years teaching experience. I achieved my Bachelors of education degree in the year 2014 and my Honours in Educational Support degree in the year 2018. In 2016 I completed the 150 hour master Tefl course where I was awarded a grade A. In 2017 I achieved the best teacher award at my current place of employment. In my free time, I enjoy going for walks, reading books, swimming, hoking and meeting new people.

Me as a Teacher

I believe learning a new language creates opportunities for students, and as an online English teacher, I can put those opportunities within reach of more students worldwide. Helping others gives me a sense of satisfaction. I absolutely love teaching and working with kids. I truly believe that I have the traits that a good teacher possess. I have patience, I am determined, organized and I am compassionate. I am able to communicate both abstract and concrete ideas in an exciting and memorable way. I love sharing information that encourages students to dig deeper on their own. I hope to make a difference in many lives.
