About Me
italki teacher since Feb 13, 2020
Hi guys, :D
I'm Mayra, a native Portuguese speaker . I was born in Brasil, I live in São Paulo.
I love learning new languages and making friends!
I learned that languages are gateways to discover a whole new world! I can speak English, Spanish and I'm learning French too.
In addition to teaching Portuguese to foreigners, I’m working for an international bank.
I am very friendly, happy and calm. I like to listen to others, so I can understand them and help them to the best of my ability.
Me as a Teacher
After studying many languages, I have learned the best methods to quickly go from zero to conversational without wasting years in the classroom. I enjoy all aspects of languages such as speaking, reading, listening, grammar and comprehension.
My objective is to help you overcome your challenges, by making it as pleasant and fun to study as possible.
My lessons & teaching style
I enjoy working with teaching methods such as grammar, speech, videos and stories. To develop the student's writing and speech, so that they do not forget the content learned. Of course focusing on what the student wants.
