Hi my name is Brends and I’m a native English speaker from sunny South Africa. I live on the East Coast and I am very lucky to have a view of the Indian Ocean from my home. I’ve met the most amazing people on italki and I’ve learnt more than anybody at school or university could ever have taught me. I’m grateful for the opportunity to speak to people from different walks of life and cultures. I’m open minded and always interested in listening to other opinions and ideas. I love sharing knowledge and networking. My career experience is diverse and includes teaching, selling property, technology (website design) and tourism. I’ve worked in the corporate and academic environment.

Brenda is the best English teacher I ever had (and I had a lot of them). Patiently accompanied by her, and thanks to her great pedagogy, I was able to reach my goal : feeling at ease in any kind of English conversations. Her way of teaching is precise, lively and well structured. As a psychotherapist graduated from University, I can assert that Brenda has an inner sense of psychology and human relationship.
