¡Hola! Mi nombre es Raquel y soy española, aunque ahora vivo en Londres. He estudiado lenguas toda mi vida y es aún algo que adoro hacer: actualmente estudio japonés y coreano, e Italki ha sido una gran ayuda en este camino. ¡Espero poder ayudarte yo a ti con el español! Hi! My name's Raquel and I'm from Spain, although these days I live in London. I have studied many languages in my life and to this day is something I love to do; currently I am focusing on Japanese and Korean, and italki has been great help to me on this. Me as a Teacher

As a language learner (of many years, may I say!) I fully understand the challenges that come with learning a foreign language, and will use my experience to make yours as enjoyable as possible. I'm patient, kind and open-minded, and I will happily discuss your worries and struggles with the langauge so that we can tackle them together and effectively. Good communication and an easy-going environment can make for a very good learning experience! ** I only teach to people of 18 or over.

My lessons & teaching style

In Conversation class, we will speak in Spanish with our topics tailored to your interests, struggles and/or current materials. I will do my absolute best to make you feel comfortable and speak freely, and will correct your mistakes, let you know how to improve and give you pointers in the right direction, as well as tips here and there to make your Spanish sound more natural. We can also work on your written Spanish: I would correct your texts, explain you what you did right and wrong and help you improve this skill. Finally, if you think a different, more tailored approached would suit you better, please do not hesitate to book my 30 minute trial class and we can discuss this further.
