About Me

I currently live in Kuala Lumpur, but I am originally from Johor, a state in the south of Malaysia. I enjoy cooking. It helps me relax. Learning new skills is also my interest. I am currently trying to improve myself by learning Spanish and taking up motion graphics as a new skill.

Me as a Teacher

I have been tutoring Malay to non-native speakers since 2019, and I currently manage I Wanna Learn Malay resources on Youtube.

My lessons & teaching style

I would encourage learners to just start speaking, don't worry about getting it right. But for each new student, I would need to gauge their abilities and outline the necessary lessons required to kick start our lessons together. Lesson would involve reading and pronunciation, sentence structure and (a little bit of) grammar, and surely vocabulary building. You can get a glimpse of my lessons online (I Wanna Learn Malay) for a start. Of course, I would welcome questions and would to provide answers to my best ability.
