About Me

Hola! My name is Jorge and I can help you to achieve your goals in Spanish and Catalan language. I have a degree in Spanish language and literature by the University of Barcelona and also a master degree in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. I have been teaching Spanish since 2008 in different countries (Spain, Poland, Brazil, Panama and Latvia) and Catalan at my home place, Barcelona. Along all this time, I have been working with students according to different ages, nationalities and necessities and I have been trying also several ways of teaching searching the most suitable for me.

Me as a Teacher

I have been travelling and working since 2008 in different countries. I am a passionate sports person and as a Spanish man, I like football very much :) I like to spend time also running or spending time actively outside. I enjoy studying different languages such as English, Latvian and Russian or continuing my education by joining on line courses to improve my teaching skills in Spanish.

My lessons & teaching style

My teaching style is based on communication and culture. I like teaching technical aspects like grammar or vocabulary combining them with cinema and literature. I always pay attention at the latest social and cultural events in the world as well. This way, we can always find a common point to speak and discuss about it. I have a great experience in creating materials for teaching Spanish and I know a lot of resources for improving detailed aspects in the process of learning.
