Thank you for understanding!* *To be fair to other students, you will be charged if you miss our lesson without notice* I have a master's degree in language didactics and a bachelor's degree in linguistics. I love learning new languages (Spanish and Japanese) so I am familiar with the various challenges you might be facing as a learner. Therefore, I think I have some of the tools to help you progress in either French (my native language) or English (as a proficient speaker). My fiancée is American and I will be moving to the U.S. shortly. My hobbies include books, sports and gaming.

Me as a Teacher

My experience as a language tutor mainly consists of the almost 5000 lessons I have had the chance to provide on this website over the past few years. Since I am a community tutor, my lessons are mostly *informal* and less structured than a professional teacher but I offer all types of lessons. Don't hesitate to contact me if you would like to request a type of lesson I don't seem to offer.

My lessons & teaching style

Because every learner is different, I do not follow any specific lesson template. I believe the most important thing is that the lesson be tailored to the goals and interests of the learner. I offer conversation lessons, interview and test practice (TEF, TCF, DELF/DALF, IELTS, etc.), lessons for beginners, reading/pronunciation practice, Quebec accent and expressions, and more. I am open to suggestions and learners of any level are welcome.
