I have been tutoring (English for Italian students) for over a year and therefore experimenting different teaching methods. such as:
*only conversation
*reading and integrating the grammar needed
*focus on grammar
Depending on the student's needs I try to choose the method I think will be the most helpful.
Also, I have helped students with different language levels. From absolute beginners to B1/B2 students that I have helped while preparing for the FCE Oxford exam, that they passed without any issue. Having passed such exams myself, I know how they work and the best strategies to pass them with profit. My lessons & teaching style
My lessons consist mainly of conversation sessions. I love talking about literature, travel, photography and different cultures! If you need to, we can also practice a bit of grammar!

*It will be possible to reschedule a lesson only once, with a previous notice of at least 24h; rescheduling multiple times in a row will not be acceptable.
*If you will NOT show up within 20 minutes from the agreed time, please note that the lesson with not take place and that you will still be charged.My teaching material

Irene was once again very engaging and fun in our discussion and was able to guide me through some of the finer points of the Italian language. Specifically she was able to clear up the subtleties that are often lost in translation and interpret what I was trying to say, while also offering alternative phrasing that was more natural. Honestly if you are a native English speaker and you are looking for some informal Italian tutoring I would absolutely recommend her!
