About Me

I'm a native British English speaker and a professional teacher. I have both the TEFL certificate and the Cambridge CELTA qualification as well as ten years teaching experience. I've taught all levels of English and I love meeting people from all around the world and helping them reach their language goals. I'm also a professional writer and published author and I love animals, photography, diving, sailing and travelling.

Me as a Teacher

I have ten years of English teaching experience and have taught students in France, Italy and Spain as well as online students from all around the world. I understand the challenges faced by language learners because I have also studied languages. I understand the difficulties you’ll face learning English as a foreign language so I’m patient, friendly and encouraging. I want you to feel comfortable to ask me any questions about English during our classes together. I will tailor every class to your needs and language learning goals. In our first lesson we will have an introductory class where we’ll discuss a plan of action together.

My lessons & teaching style

I can offer a whole range of different classes. For example, conversation classes, grammar lessons, exam preparation, job interview preparation as well as specialised business or aviation classes. I’m also happy to help you with your written English. *** I will accept any rescheduling requests with more than 24 hours notice. This gives me time to find another student to take your spot. If you reschedule with less than 24 hours notice or if you fail to attend the lesson, you will need to pay for the lesson in full. ***Please be on time. I often have back to back classes and if you are late I won't be able to give you the full time. I will wait for up to 15 minutes.
