Hello, my name in Joanne and I'm a Brit living in Spain. I have a lot of different interests and passions, ranging from the usual reading,films, travelling, to the more unusual, for example I love designs on coins, cricket and I'm very interested in all things psychological and political. I've been a teacher of English for over 20 years, and I've followed different interests as I've grown in my career to take in teaching young learners, exam preparation, examining, English for Academic Purposes, teaching pre-literate children, academic management and teacher training, supporting people with a variety of special educational needs and now I'm developing tech skills to support learnings learning online and through hybrid teaching. My teaching style is designed to support the student, their needs and to enable them to achieve their objectives. I identify their needs and work with them to find the best creative solution to their requirements. My lessons are lively, imaginative, creative and engaging, and I'm very interested in what the students have to bring to the class. There is focus on increasing your learner autonomy so you can take more control of your learning and continue to learn even when life becomes hectic.Certificates
