About Me

Dear Students, Please contact me directly with your preferred times, if you want to book a class from your package in March. Thank you very much. My name is Pascal and I am living in Hiroshima. I am originally from Germany, but moved to Japan two years ago. I have been studying in the UK and used English everyday at work. I used to work in tourism and created presentations and proposals in English and German on a daily basis. I have also been a lecturer for German and international students at a German university.

Me as a Teacher

Learning a language should be fun. In my view, the best way to master and enjoy it, is by speaking it. It doesn’t matter, if your grammar is not perfect at the beginning, most important you get the chance to have conversations in the language you learn. People will understand what you want to say, even if the grammar isn’t perfect. Grammar comes with time. This is how I learned having basic conversation in Spanish just after 3 weeks of language school.

My lessons & teaching style

I have been teaching tourism and marketing in German to international students and know the difficulties of learning a new language. Most important is to have a topic that interests you and you would like to talk about. Therefore, the focus of my classes is on conversation. Use the vocabulary you already know and learn new ones. I am also happy to review any work you need to do for school or explain the lessons from the textbook that you are using. Let’s enjoy learning German and English.
