About Me

Hi! I'm an Italian teacher coming from Northern-Italy, and I'm here to help you improve your Italian in a friendly and stimulating way. I hold a Master's Degree in Foreign Languages and Cultural Tourism. I also hold the DITALS Certification granted by the University for Foreigners of Siena, which certifies the possession of theoretical and practical competences in teaching Italian as a second or foreign language.

Me as a Teacher

I am a friendly and enthusiastic teacher passionate about languages, teaching, and learning. I have been learning languages for years and I know the struggle when it comes to memorizing new vocabulary, new grammar rules and pronouncing new sounds. Learning a language is an extraordinary journey, but I know that it is easy to get frustrated when the results do not tie in with our expectations. I want my students to gain confidence in their ability of learning languages. I'm ready to share with you tips, methods, and tools, that I have discovered throughout my experience as a language learner and language enthusiast.

My lessons & teaching style

The students are the main focus of my lessons. I listen to their motivation for learning Italian, and I do my best to help them reach their language goals. I take my students' interests into account, and in each lesson they can learn effectively and have fun in a friendly and stimulating environment.

This was the introductory lesson. Getting to know student and teacher. Good energy from Lorenzo as well as what seems to be a good lesson plan. I am excited to get started.
