About Me

Since childhood, I've been fascinated by stories about the unexplained, science fiction, fantasy, and topics such as how people think and all about logic. I enjoy playing games with children, and help them learn simple facts of life. I sing and dance. I collect soda and beer cans from all over the world. My cousin drinks the soda and beer, I keep the cans. I love going to amusement parks. Hiking and biking are also my hobbies. I've participated in a few marathon races, but only the 5k run. My country, the Philippines , has a lot of beautiful sites. I've been going around and exploring them. Additionally, I've visited a few countries in Asia like Hong Kong and Singapore.

Me as a Teacher

I've been teaching for five years. I want to see the improvement in my student's English speaking and listening skills, lesson after lesson. If I have to repeat the lesson, just to make sure that my student understands and absorbs something, I'm willing to do it. It has been an innate trait of mine to provide patience, encouragement; and also positivity to whomever I'm speaking with.

My lessons & teaching style

I customize my lessons according to my students' needs. We can have conversations about a lot of topics. I include grammar, reading and listening exercises, too.

The last time I had class with ate Beth was one year ago... too busy in school. I found her class just like before. It is fun and super interesting at the same time. She was on time and gave me few more minutes to finish her lesson. She was as usual very knowledgeable and always encouraging. I never feel little or stupid with her, and you get congratulations for any simple good answers you give. To learn with ate Beth is a pleasure for me.
