About Me

After my Master’s degree in Specialized translation, I decided to start a new adventure in teaching my mother tongue.
I took Ditals II Level Certification and I became an Italian Teacher for foreigners.
I have taught for years and I have had a lot of students from all over the world and of different ages.
If you want to take a CILS or CELI Certification, I can help you! I can organize appropriate lessons that follow your needs and I can plan different tasks and utilise personalized materials. My lessons & teaching style
I believe in the communicative method and I use it in all my courses: you are the main character of your language learning!
You will know Italian, talking about subjects that you like! Learning a foreign language must be fun, engaging and motivating!
For that reason, I always design creative and personalized lessons for my students.
We will work together to find the solutions to your language learning problems!
During my lessons I only speak in Italian (even for beginners…yes, that’s right!). Don’t be afraid because, step by step you will be more fluent and you will see your progress!

My first lesson with Lucia was excellent! Lucia is very friendly and engaging. We had an interesting wide-ranging conversation in which Lucia patiently and kindly corrected my mistakes and helped me when I was at a loss for a particular word or phrase. I was shocked when I looked at my watch for the first time during the lesson and 57 minutes had passed! The time flew by which clearly meant it was an enjoyable lesson.
