About Me

Hello, my name is Nick Gold. I have lived, worked and studied in the UK for many years. I have a First Class Honours Degree and a Masters Degree in Sociology as well as two teaching qualifications. I am an experienced teacher; I have taught in schools, colleges, universities and online for many years. I have a good knowledge of British culture and what it is like to live, work and study in the UK. My interests are very broad, including travel, culture, art, music, sport, politics, literature, film and TV – so I am sure we will be able to find plenty to discuss! Me as a Teacher

My aim is to help you to improve your English, using Skype, Zoom or another platform, in a way that suits you and is enjoyable. Whether you want to improve your writing and grammar, prepare for a job interview, study in English or simply practise and improve your conversation skills I believe that you will learn quicker if the lessons are based on topics that interest you. I enjoy meeting and talking with people, and by finding out a little about you I will be able to deliver more stimulating and engaging lessons. Please note that I only teach adult students (aged 18 and over).
