About Me

I have over 15 years of experience teaching. I’m patient, flexible and I enjoy having fun with my students! I also love learning about other cultures! I can create conversation lessons adapted to your level as I have experience in all levels: beginner to advanced. I have my TESOL certificate and a Bachelor’s degree in French and Spanish as well.

My lessons & teaching style

At the moment my focus is English conversation. We all learn in our unique way. So I use a blended approach to accommodate different learning styles. Feel free to let me know what you like! After all, it's your class! For lower levels, we could talk about relevant personal information in various contexts(at the airport, at the pharmacy etc), expressing present habits, talking about future plans or activities in the past. For higher levels, conversation classes can be done in diverse ways: informal debates, listening to/reading an extract and then giving your opinion on the topic of this extract, games, telling stories etc.

TEFL/TESOL - ITTO: Internationl Teacher Training Organization - 2017This was a 140 hour online course in Teaching English as a Foreign Language or to Speakers of Other Languages. There were 8 modules and a final project. I was assigned a tutor who guided me to complete the course material successfully. I had to complete a journal for each topic, participate in forums, do quizzes and plan lessons for each module, which I would send to my tutor for correction and feedback. There was also a final project. The course has enabled me to plan ESOL lessons effectively.
