About Me

I am British and well-traveled. I have lived in and visited a number of different countries. I enjoy talking to people; I like learning about and from them. My hobbies include reading , walking, learning to play the viola, cooking and learning languages. I enjoy going to the movies and spending time with my family.

Me as a Teacher

I have worked as an English teacher in Hong Kong, Thailand and Spain. I taught general English as well as English for Academic Purposes. My students were usually young adults, but I also taught children and older adults. Since 2016, I have taught online. I have taught children from the ages of three to seventeen for one company as well as adults for another.

My lessons & teaching style

Lessons are designed to meet your needs. We will work at a pace that suits you, and use materials that interest you. There will be ample opportunity for practice to develop the skills that you want to work on. You will find me patient and encouraging, and dedicated to improving your English.
