About Me

I am a native Spanish speaker who studies Social Sciences and I am always intersted in learning new things. I love talking with people from other cultures in order to understand more about our world. Italki has helped me a lot in my learning of English, which I practice everyday, and I look forward to using this passion for language to help others to reach their goals of learning Spanish!

Me as a Teacher

I have experience teaching Spanish for English speakers. I have teached Spanish to people who have emigrated to Uruguay to find jobs in the growing software industry. In a short amount of time, I have had great results helping them to incorporate the language into their daily lives and become more comfortable speaking and conversing.

My lessons & teaching style

I adapt my teacing style to accomodate the needs of each student. I am self taught and I think it is an important quality to instill in my students, so that they can eventually develop the ability to study the language and improve on their own, but more importantly so they feel encouraged to speak more. The first thing I do is ask to my students what they want to learn, what are their goals, and what are their strenghts and weaknesses. Using this information I create a plan in order to teach the student in a way specific to their improvement.
