About Me

Hi, I'm Catherine and I love languages. Simply because through them I can get to communicate and know people from other countries and cultures. I love to make new friends. I try to live a creative and happy life every day, and I always wear a smile, I can't help it. I've traveled to Cuba, Norway, and Canada. I'm originally from the Dominican Republic and I live in the United States.

Me as a Teacher

When I was young, some of my favorite subjects in school were languages. I always found English or French class time exciting, I was always looking forward to these classes. Other great experiences in my youth where when a friend from another country would come to visit and we would share our language knowledge. It was fun. Now, I'm very excited to share what I know today.

My lessons & teaching style

My teaching style would be informal and mostly conversational. We can talk about everyday life. For my lessons, I first would want to know what my students want but I can also prepare fun subjects to talk about.
