I can provide you with useful advice for language learning. We can use various teaching methods throughout our lessons in order to maximise the efficiency along your learning process.

Qualifications & Experience I hold a degree in English-Spanish Translation Studies/BA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language/CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) My lessons & teaching style
I offer individual tailor-made lessons which allow my students to work on areas of particular interest or concern. Each lesson is prepared according to the student’s specific needs. During my lessons I use different tools such as textbooks, videos, songs, newspaper articles, etc. I always advise my students to work on all aspects of language skills: reading, writing, listening and conversation, with emphasis on speaking.

I had a fantastic first lesson with Chris to practise Spanish. Chris speaks very clearly and is easy to understand, and tailored the lesson to my needs. He was also very patient, and would let me express my ideas to the best of my ability first, then step in with observations and suggestions on how to say things better, which I appreciate. I look forward to the next one!

I just completed my trial lesson with Chris. I enjoy his patient demeanor and methodical approach to teaching Spanish. We discussed my goals for learning Spanish, and he is able to create a lesson plan to meet those goals. Of course it's up to me to practice, practice, practice! I could see the joy on his face, and hear the excitement in his voice when Chris described how he enjoys watching his students quickly improve from one class to the next. I will definitely be returning for more classes with Chris!

It was my first lesson with Chris. We talked a lot (that's why I took this course). He was always checking out my needs and reacting proper in every situation. At the end he gave a very helpful feedback about our conversation (well, about my part of it :)). Although he is very well prepared he is also able to react spontaneously. Well done!!
